How to Use the MARINA Competency Review Portal (CRP)

The Latest Complete Guide

"In-depth review may require months of dedication but by using the MARINA CRP can boost your chances of passing the exam."

Are you considering taking the leap into a ship officer, but you don't even have an idea where to review for the exam?

Just thinking about taking the MARINA theoretical exam can be quite stressful. You tend to think about how to successfully pass, how to study effectively, what topics will be covered, and the expenses that come along with the time of preparation.

Many of the ship officers have been there and done that. However, only a few of them tell you what to do in preparation for the exam. Oftentimes, you will receive a generic answer of "That's easy."

To tell you the truth, the theoretical examination is not a walk in the park compared to what your friends are saying. Especially the review part, wherein you need enough preparation and practice to remove your doubts about your own abilities and stop your worry of failing.

What is the MARINA Competency Review Portal?

It is an online platform designed to assist you in preparing for the theoretical exam for Merchant Marine Officers. The CRP's major objective is to give example questions and probable solutions, allowing you to become comfortable with the examination's format and difficulty levels.

It is crucial to remember that the CRP questions are merely for practice purposes and do not exactly match the questions on the real test. It is advisable that you carefully study, research, and evaluate each question and answer.

In some way it helps seafarers pass the exam, minimize those negative thoughts of failing, and save money from enrolling in review centers. You don't need to spend a peso to use it as long as you completed the required training and scheduled your exam.
