Better Seafarer is a maritime guide that helps you grow. It was founded in 2023 with the goal of educating and informing all seafarers, regardless of their nationality, as well as the maritime industry at large.

Onboard safety information, maritime news, maritime education, finance, health, ethical perspectives, practical life advice, and other relevant articles about the maritime industry are all available without cost to readers. 

This platform also helps seafarers by publishing articles that feature guidance for the application process, examination process, training, and preparing documents and papers required onboard. 

Its founder believed that information should be free for everyone and hoped to assist his fellow seafarers in resolving the problems they encounter. No matter where you are in the world right now, Better Seafarer wants to help you navigate life.

WHO WORKS BEHIND

John Henry

John Henry is the founder and author for Better Seafarer; therefore, he devotes himself to maritime education, seafarer guides, news, personal improvement, and workplace safety.

He was the former editor-in-chief of COME Nautilus, a maritime student publication in college. He is an active seafarer on a bulk vessel who spends his free time writing articles about maritime, technology and digital space, personal growth, and lifestyle. 

When he's not stretching the frontiers of blogging, he enjoys singing, voice acting, translating, reading books and articles, language learning, creating graphics and videos, and calling loved ones back home.
